# How to cancel GPU server rentals > Cancel GPU server rental any month with no fee, from your dashboard before the renewal date. Your server runs to the end of the paid month. See the steps. Open the server's page in your dashboard and choose "Cancel at end of period" before your next renewal date. Your server stays available until the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. The minimum term is one month. ## How renewal works - Plans renew automatically each month, and each renewal is paid from your account balance. - We send you a reminder by email before renewals, and your dashboard shows whether your balance covers the next one. - If your balance does not cover a renewal, you have 72 hours to add funds, and adding funds pays the overdue renewal automatically. After those 72 hours, the server may be suspended. - A server suspended for 7 days ends, and its disks are securely erased. A renewal paid while the server is suspended starts a new month from the day of payment. - Your price is fixed for each paid month. We may change prices for future months only with at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel before the change takes effect. Top up before the renewal date so the renewal is paid on time. Every top-up also earns bonus credit: +5% for every full $100 in a single top-up, up to +50% from $1,000. Material changes to our terms are notified by email at least 30 days before they apply to your next renewal. See [what happens to your data after cancellation](https://overgpu.com/help/data-deletion). 2. **Choose "Cancel at end of period"** on the server's page in your dashboard, before your next renewal date. If you rent several servers, do this for each one you want to cancel. 3. **Keep using the server** until the end of the paid month. You are not charged again. Changed your mind? Choose "Keep renewing" on the same page before the end of the paid month, and the server renews from your balance as usual. > The reminder email before a renewal is a good moment to decide. Do not wait for the last minute: renewal has to be turned off before the renewal date. ## What canceling costs Nothing. There is no cancellation fee. The month you have already paid for is not refunded, except through SLA credits; see [refunds](https://overgpu.com/help/refunds). Unused paid credit on your balance can be refunded to your wallet on request, while bonus credit cannot. If you only want a smaller or different server, you do not need to cancel: see [upgrades and plan changes](https://overgpu.com/help/upgrades-and-changes). ## Minimum term and longer terms The minimum term is one month. Longer terms and volume pricing can be agreed in writing, such as 6 to 12 months or several servers, usually from three: once you have an active server, give the quantity and duration in a ticket from your dashboard.
